What is Quizistan?
It is a live Quiz/Trivia game show app with cash prizes. You can play every day and get a chance to win prizes every hour. The game is hosted live through our advanced servers. The game does not involve any type of live video streaming. You can win real money by answering questions. Points will be given based on how quick you answer the questions and your rank will depend on your score.
Is the money real?
Yes, the money is real. You can check your balance in the 'My Account' section of the App and you can transfer it directly to your bank account by following the necessary procedures. For more details check the 'Withdrawals' section in the FAQs.
What is the 'Free Quiz' section?
If you want to practice and test your knowledge before joining a live game , you can use this section .Chose " Practice " and then select a topic to practice alone or chose " challenge" then select a topic and enter the unique quizistan username of your friend with whom you want to play . Please note that both of you have to be online on the mobile application at the same time in order to challenge each other .
What is a 50-50 life line?
Players will get a 50-50 life line in every live quiz game. You can use the lifeline at any time if you are stuck on a question. You only have to touch the icon and it will eliminate 2 wrong answers. You can now choose the right one from the 2 remaining answers. But hurry up as the timer would still be on!
Why Your phone number is important while signing up?
Your phone number is a unique identity of your account. It is needed to link your account to your bank account and email ID along with keeping your account safe and running.
Referral Policy
How does referral work?
Every time you refer a friend , you and your friend both get one 50-50 lifeline . You have a unique referral code which is your username. Please ask your friend to use your referal code while signing up. Your 50-50 lifeline is valid for 365 days
How many people can I refer?
You can refer as many people as you want. The more the merrier.
I deposited cash but it is not updated in my Quizistan account, why?
This is not a major issue. It is possible that your bank has not cleared the transaction and we are yet to receive the amount. It is usually added instantly but in such scenarios, it can take up to 30-45 minutes for the transaction to be updated. In case the amount does not get added even after 45 minutes, do not worry!! We are notified by our ‘Payment Gateway’ once the transaction is successful and the amount is credited to your Quizistan account. Meanwhile, you may proceed with another transaction using alternate mediums such as Paytm, credit cards, debit cards, or internet banking.
How do I add or delete a credit/debit card to my Quizistan account?
It’s a fairly simple process!
Go to Me -> Account -> Manage Payments and enter your credit/debit card number followed by a valid expiry date and save your card.

Important Points to Note:

  • You can multiple credit/debit cards to your account at any time.
  • We accept all major credit/debit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Rupay and Diners. However, we regret to inform you that we currently do not accept American Express cards.
  • Don’t worry about the security of your bank information. It is absolutely safe with us as we do NOT store your credit/debit card details with us.
  • In case you wish to delete your card -
    Go to Me -> Account -> Manage Payments, click on ’Add/Remove Cards’ and then choose the card you wish to delete.
  • We only work with trusted third party payment gateways with 3D secure authentication to ensure safety & security of all your financial transactions.
How do I link/unlink my Paytm account to my Quizistan account?
  • You can link your Paytm account through OTP authentication.
  • Go to Me -> Account -> Manage Payments to link your Paytm account.
  • For unlinking:

    Go to Me -> Account -> Manage Payments. Tap on the ‘Paytm’ and select ‘Unlink Paytm account’ on the following page.
  • According to our policies, it’s mandatory to use the same mobile number both for Quizistan and Paytm.
How can I withdraw my winnings?
  • Step 1: Login with your verified Quizistan account.
  • Step 2: Go to My Account and if your account is a verified account you will see a ’Withdraw’ option under the winnings section.
  • Step 3: Click Withdraw and enter the amount you would like to withdraw. You will receive a confirmation from Quizistan on your registered email ID.
  • Important Points to Remember:

  • You can withdraw money only from the winnings balance once your Quizistan account is verified.
  • Account verification is a one-time process that is not repeated unless you wish to make changes to your account.
  • You cannot withdraw the deposited cash but you can use it to join more contests and win more.
We need you to provide the following bank account details:
Some essential details include Name of the bank, Name of the branch, Name of the account holder, Bank Account no. and IFSC code. Once your account is verified, you can withdraw the desired amount (min. of Rs.200 and max. of Rs.2,00,000 at a time). The withdrawal amount is deposited to your bank account within 5 working days.
Can I use someone else’s bank account to withdraw money?
Unfortunately, you can withdraw money from your Quizistan account balance ONLY to your own bank account. If you do not have a bank account, your winnings will be accumulated in your Quizistan account balance. Once you get a bank account in your name, you can use the same to get your Quizistan account verified and place your withdrawal requests.
It’s been over 5 working days but I’ve still not received the withdrawal in my bank account?

In such a scenario, do not panic and proceed with following steps.

  • Please make sure that you are checking the same bank account which you have submitted during your bank verification.
  • The payout entry in your bank statement would be in the name of ‘INQUIZITIVE GAMES PRIVATE LIMITED’. In case you do not receive the payout post 5 working days of withdrawal request, your withdrawal may have been rejected by your bank. The most common reason for the rejection may be an incorrect account number, wrong IFSC code, NRI account etc.
  • Even if there is a rejection, we got you covered! We’ll reverse the money back into your Quizistan account so that you can update your details and place a new withdrawal request again.
Do I have to pay taxes when I withdraw money to my bank account?
Taxes are deducted at source wherever applicable and paid out by us, as per the Income Tax Act 1961. Thus, if your individual winnings for a single contest are more than Rs. 10,000, a tax of 30.9% will be deducted. The remaining 69.1% will be credited to your winnings balance. For instance, if you win Rs. 1,00,000, Rs.30,900 will be deducted and your actual winnings will be Rs.69,100.

Winners will be provided TDS certificates in respect of the tax deductions, if applicable. However, you shall be responsible for payment of any other applicable tax, including but not limited to, income tax, gift tax, etc. in respect to the Cash Prizes you won. When will I receive my TDS certificate?
Your TDS certificate is generated within 3 months from the winning date. We will mail it to your registered email ID.
Please note that TDS Certificates will only be provided to the users who have verified their profiles within that the given time period. We will not be able to provide TDS Certificates for that cycle if you have not verified your profile.
How will I score points?
You will score points based on how fast you answer the question. For instance, you get 10 seconds to answer each question and your score will depend on how fast you answer the question. If you answer a question in 2.35 seconds, you will get 7.65 points i.e. 10-2.35. You can view this on your screen.
What are double points in 4th and 8th question?
You get a chance to score double points on the 4th and 8th question in order to improve your score. For 4th and 8th question, if you answer a question in 2.35 seconds, you will get 15.30 points i.e. 10-2.35 = 7.65 multiplied by 2. You can view this on your screen.
How are the winners decided?
The winners will be decided on the basis of the number of points you score. The player with the maximum number of points will win and your rank will be decided based on your score.
How much money will I get if I win?
The amount of money you win is based on your rank. Each quiz game specifies the amount of money that is given to the top ranks.
Why haven’t I received my winnings in my Quizistan account balance yet?
Usually, the winnings for each quiz are added to your account balance within 4 hours of the completion of the quiz. However, quiz games ending late at night, winners will be declared the next morning after which your winnings will be added to your Quizistan account balance.
Does the amount in my Winnings Account have any expiry date?
If the amount in your Winnings Account is not transferred to your bank account within 335 days from the date of credit, it will be deposited automatically to your bank account which is on record with Quizistan provided that your Quizistan account has been verified by Quizistan. In case no bank account is provided or you have failed to complete the verification for the Quizistan account, the amount would stand forfeited by Quizistan. Hence it's important that you get your Quizistan account verified as soon as possible. Please check our Terms & Conditions section for detailed information on this aspect.
Playing Quizistan
How do I play the Quizistan Game?

Follow the steps explained below to get started.

  • Step 1: Choose a Quiz based on your time and topic preference from the ‘Schedule’ tab from home screen.
  • Step 2: Press the ‘Register’ button.
  • Step 3: Pay through your wallet and you will get an email confirmation along with an app notification.
  • Step 4: Chose the ‘Get Notified When Live’ option to get a notification when your quiz is about to go live.
Once the Quiz starts, your points will be added as you answer the questions. You can view your live rank along with the other players’ rank after every 2 questions.

Your rank in a cash contest is determined based on the points you score in a live quiz. If you finish among the winning ranks of that cash contest, you’ll be declared a winner in the contest. We’ll credit the winnings in your Quizistan account depending on the amount that you’ve won.
Can I register for multiple quizzes?
You can register for as many quiz contests as you want in a day with the maximum limit being 1 entry per quiz game.
If other users in the contest are at the same rank as me, how will the winnings be distributed?
The winnings will be equally split among tied users.
Why was my entry fees refunded?
We will refund the entry fee to your Quizistan account within a maximum of 24 hrs if a contest is not filled with the required number of participants or if the Quiz is cancelled due to any technical errors.
How will I be informed if I win a Cash prize?
Ranks and points will be updated and displayed during and at the end of every match. The winnings are automatically credited to your Quizistan account balance if you win in any of the cash contest.
How can I verify my account?

Follow these steps to verify your account.

  • To verify your account, open the menu, click on ‘Verify Now button’.
  • Verify your mobile number by entering the OTP sent to your phone and submit.
  • Check your email and click on the Verify Now button to verify your email ID registered with Quizistan.
  • Enter your PAN number, upload your PAN Card image and submit. Please note that you will able to place a PAN verification request only if your winnings balance is more than Rs. 200. Enter your bank details, upload your bank account proof and submit.
Additionally, Phone number and email verification are completed instantly as soon as you follow the above steps. Once PAN and bank details are submitted, you will receive an update within 5 working days! In case you have only updated your PAN verification request, please go ahead and submit your bank verification so that both your requests are processed on priority.

Note: You can join contests even without verifying your account. When you win Cash Contests, your winnings will be deposited in your Quizistan account. Verification becomes mandatory only before you can make withdrawals from your Quizistan account to your bank account. The minimum winnings balance needed to place a withdrawal request is Rs. 200.
Can I verify more than one account with same PAN Card and bank account?
Creating multiple accounts violates our Fair-Play policy and hence you cannot verify multiple accounts using same PAN and bank details.
Why do I need a PAN Card to verify my account?
Your withdrawals involve transfer of money from your Quizistan account to your bank account. Hence, PAN Card is mandatory to get your account verified due to regulatory requirements. If you do not have a PAN Card, you can apply for one and submit a verification request when you receive it. In the meantime, you can still join contests and your winnings will be accumulated in your Quizistan account.
What to do if my PAN card verification fails?
You might face issues in PAN verification. Some of the possible reasons responsible for a failed verification request are:
  • You did not upload an image of your PAN Card. Your withdrawals on Quizistan involve a transfer of money. Hence, PAN Card is mandatory to get your Quizistan account verified. Please upload a clear image of your PAN Card.
  • PAN number on the card does not match the PAN number entered during verification request. Double check the PAN number that you have entered to avoid errors.
  • Date of Birth on the PAN Card does not match the Date of Birth on your Quizistan account. Please ensure that you enter the exact Date of Birth on the verification request as it appears on the PAN Card.
  • Name on the PAN card does not match the name on the bank account. You can withdraw money from your Quizistan account only to your own bank account. Hence, the name on the PAN Card and bank account need to match.
  • IFSC code provided in the bank details is incorrect or belongs to a different bank branch than the one mentioned for verification purposes. If you provide the wrong IFSC code, your money could be transferred to someone else's account. So, make sure to enter the correct code. You can find the IFSC code in your cheque book, passbook or bank statements. If you are not sure, please contact your bank to get the correct code.
  • The documents you uploaded are not clear/visible. Our experts are human after all! Please help them by uploading documents where all the details are clearly visible so that they can verify your details quickly.
  • Bank account number entered in verification request does not match with account number appearing on the uploaded proof. Please ensure that you enter the exact bank account number in the verification request, as it appears on the bank account proof. In the rare case that your verification request gets rejected, the reason for rejection will appear on top of the verification page for your reference
Profile Changes
Can I change my username on Quizistan?
Unfortunately, you CANNOT change your username. Your username is your unique identity on Quizistan. We believe in FairPlay and complete transparency, and allow everyone who has joined the contest to track their opponents and see their points and ranking. It becomes incredibly difficult to track performances and assess the competition if usernames are frequently changed.
Can I change my Mobile Number?
Unfortunately, your mobile number CANNOT be changed once it is verified on your Quizistan account.
Can I change my Email Id?
Unfortunately, your email ID CANNOT be changed once it is verified on your Quizistan account.
Can I change my PAN card?
Unfortunately, you CANNOT change your PAN Card as it is your identity proof on Quizistan. Also, your PAN card once verified CANNOT be unlinked from your Quizistan account.
Can I change my BANK ACCOUNT?
To change the bank details on your verified Quizistan account, kindly send us an email on help@quizistan.in. Please note that as a security policy, we will be confirming your request with a few account related questions before we go ahead and help you change your bank account.

Important Note: If your withdrawal is in process, we request you to raise the bank account change request AFTER the withdrawal is credited to your bank account.
Can I change my STATE, GENDER or ADDRESS?
Yes you can definitely do that. Please go to Me -> Full Profile/Personal Details to change your Gender & Address at your end. However, you cannot change your state of residence if your account is already verified.
I’ve forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

Please follow the below steps to reset your password:

For Android/iOS App:

  • From the login screen, type your registered email ID and click NEXT.
  • Click on ‘Forgot Password’. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email ID in a few minutes.
  • Once you receive the mail, click on ‘reset password’. This link will expire in 24 hours.
  • Change your password and use your new password to log in again.
  • If you don’t see our mail, check the spam/junk & promotions folders in your mailbox.

For desktop/mobile sites:

Please follow the below steps to reset your password:
  • From the login screen, click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  • Enter your registered email ID and click on ‘Send Password’.
  • A password reset link will be sent to your registered email ID in a few minutes.
  • Once you receive the mail, click on ‘reset password’. This link will expire in 24 hours.
  • Change your password and use your new password to log in again.
  • If you don’t see our mail, check the spam/junk & promotions folders in your mailbox.
I forgot the mobile number/email id I used to register on Quizistan
If you forgot your registered email ID, you can also login using your registered (verified) mobile number. An OTP will be sent to you on same number that you can use for logging in successfully.

This works both ways as you can also login with your email ID if you forgot your registered mobile number.
I am not receiving the OTP.
The OTP is usually sent within 30 seconds. If you haven’t received it in that time, you may probably be in a low network zone. You can request for a new OTP by clicking on the ‘Resend OTP’ link that appears after 30 seconds. Alternately, you can login using your registered email ID. If none of these steps are working, please check your connection and retry once you have better connectivity.
